About The Sticky Pig

The Sticky Pig was established in 2017 in the Lehigh Valley to serve a wide assortment of high quality gastro-pub style starters and entrees to accommodate any occasion.  About the Owners:

Stacey and Charlie Wehr started with a dream. That dream was to be able to get out of the daily grind of the same boring thing every chef and server deals with in a brick and mortar restaurant. They decided that what better way to engage with the local community, while doing what they love, than to share their own culinary inventions in a food truck! Collectively they have been in almost all aspects of the food service industry for over 30 years and are excited to bring that experience combined with the wide range of local farm fresh produce, fruits, meats and other products that the Lehigh Valley has to offer.

Charlie, being the mastermind behind all of the culinary delights offered by The Sticky Pig, has honed his skills working in a variety of kitchen settings from the corner dive bar to upscale fine dining.  Through all this he has found his niche in “farm to table bar food”.  His unpretentious style combines depth of flavor in a casual manner. 

Stacey is the behind the scenes guru, managing the day to day operations of The Sticky Pig. A graduate of Kutztown University, she has served countless patrons with her contagious smile and laugh. Every now and then she gets to pop her smiling face out the front window and say “hello” herself!

About the Truck

In the early beginnings of The Sticky Pig we were popping up inside breweries, wineries and distilleries and enjoying the intimacy of being right next to and engaging with our customers. Charlie was looking at some food trucks here and there, but nothing really gave him that spark he was looking for. While talking to a friend about the business he mentioned that his cousins were looking to sell their food truck to pursue some other business opportunities. It was the perfect size, had the right look and had a great background. Formally the truck was a utility training vehicle for the Freemansburg Fire Company. They made their decision quickly and put an offer in. Fast forward to a month later and some serious nail biting, they found out their offer was accepted while in the middle of service at the Haze 2.0 beer release party at Cave Brewery. After a little TLC, soap and elbow grease, a great wrap jobs from our good friends at FastSigns Allentown, and all the necessary permits from the great state of Pennsylvania and the City of Allentown, we were ready to go!

As we have grown over the years, we have also grown in service area and our menu items. We now operate throughout the Lehigh Valley- north to Jim Thorpe and Wind Gap, West to Hamburg, South to Quakertown and East to Easton!
